- If you choose to eat meat, here’s a simple rule: the cheaper the meat, the more contaminated it’s likely to be. If it’s advertised on TV or on a super sale at the big box discount store, you can assume that the animal was treated badly, fed moldy grain and pumped full of every antibiotic and hormone known to man. The same applies at restaurants, hospitals and cafeterias…especially fast food places offering you an entire burger or burrito for 79 cents. It just doesn’t pay to eat cheap meat.
- Acupuncture heals dis-ease, or the absence of harmony within your body, your mind, your spirit and your life. It’s all about helping you to get your health and your life back into balance in order to live free of dis-harmony now and long into the future. Don’t you want to live well?
- Want to fight wrinkles? Load up on these: Leafy greens, cruciferous VEGGIES, olive oil, raw nuts, white and green tea. Avoid these: sugary, processed foods, cheap meat, dairy.
- People who actually do watch what they eat not only have bodies that are physically younger, healthier, and slimmer but also are less likely to get wrinkles. CoolJ

- A molecule of chlorophyll has only one atom that makes it different from a molecule of human blood. Eating chlorophyll from greens is almost like receiving a healthy blood transfusion! How can you eat more greens today?
- Electromagnetic fields (EMF's) disrupt OUR bioelectric system and can cause serious health concerns. Minimize your exposure to electronics such as microwaves, fluorescent lights, televisions and appliances. Use a land line whenever possible and be especially careful to turn off cell phones, wi fi, lap tops and electric clocks before sleeping.
- Wonder why you can't lose weight? Diagnosed with diabetes or insulin resistance? Go check every box, can, bottle or jar in your cupboards and refrigerator. If you see High Fructose Corn Syrup on the ingredient list (and you will) toss it out. This evil, man-made, cheap chemical sugar is foreign to our bodies and encourages obesity, a fatty liver, insulin resistance and bone loss.
- What's the very best exercise for the upper body?? The Push-Up!! It strengthens the chest, back, shoulders, arms and abs -- all in one little exercise! Give yourself a push -- no equipment needed:)
- Sleep in complete darkness. Exposure to light while your body is trying to sleep activates your stress response and weakens your immune system, which is why irregular sleep cycles can lead to stress-related disorders including: constipation, stomach ulcers, depression, heart disease, decreased ability to fight cancer and even weight gain!
- Your metabolism does not just slow because you get older, but instead because you stop moving as much! When you're younger you usually move more, and as people get older they generally move less. Is this you?? If you want to make sure your metabolism doesn't slow as the years go by, move your body to keep lean muscle mass and therefore, a stronger metabolism:)
- Regular consumption of organic green tea may be able to cut your risk of depression – and stroke -- nearly in half! Studies show that men and women drinking green tea daily were 44% less likely to have symptoms of depression, and 40 – 70% less likely to suffer from a stoke! Yet another reason to make the switch from coffee...
- Did you know that avocados have more than twice as much potassium as bananas? They also are rich in raw, monounsaturated fat, which is easily burned for energy! Avocados rock! For a delicious, creamy salad dressing or dip for raw veggies, mix together avocado and fresh carrot juice.
- Did you know that plants make great air purifiers?? Of course, they produce oxygen, but they also eliminate harmful VOCs (volatile organic chemicals) at the same time! Fill your home or office with houseplants and bring fresh air indoors:)
- Love heals. Loving unconditionally and accepting love from others makes our lives more meaningful and healthier, too. Researchers have found that tender, loving care reduces atherosclerosis and risk, risk of heart attacks, and increases levels of immunoglobulin-IGA, our first line of defense against colds and flu.
- Don't wear toxins. No-iron cotton fabrics usually contain formaldehyde, which releases fumes that can cause allergies, asthma, cough, headache, restless sleep, fatigue and skin rash. Chlorinated laundry detergent and bleach can also damage the lungs. Wear natural fabrics, launder in non-toxic detergents and brighten with borax or non-chlorine bleach.
- One of my favorite "super foods" is raw garlic. Eat a clove a day to reduce inflammation, protect your heart, lower blood pressure, fight cancer, aid weight loss, boost immunity and fight all kinds of infections.
